Woman’s Chaofu Robe
清代女朝袍
A woman’s court robe follows the same basic construction as the man’s, differing in the treatment of cuff, sleeve extension and hem. It was worn as part of a complete ensemble with the chaogua, court skirt, hat, collar and court beads.
