Chaoguan (Court Hat)
清代朝冠
Headwear was as strictly regulated as dress in the Qing system, with separate winter and summer forms and a finial whose material and number of tiers were fixed by grade. Court hats were kept in purpose-made boxes, usually inscribed with auspicious characters.
