Images of the Silk Road: Chinese Fashion and Costume Art
丝路映像——中国时装艺术精品展
Held as part of the sixth-anniversary programme of the China Cultural Centre in Moscow, the exhibition presented Chinese costume art to an international audience. Xiaojian Li contributed objects to the exhibition as a lender.

Chinese Textiles and Embroidery: Selected Works from the Li Yulai Collection
中国传统织绣文化展——李雨来藏品撷珍
One hundred and seven objects were selected from the family collection and shown in two groups. The textiles included a Tang-dynasty samite with paired birds in pearl roundels, a Yuan-dynasty gold-brocaded silk with geometric patterning, a Ming-dynasty zhuanghua satin robe length with dragon motifs and a Ming-dynasty gold-brocaded silk with scrolling lotus. The costume section covered armour, chao robes, jifu robes, dragon surcoats, changyi robes, ritual robes and rank badges, setting out the range of Chinese weaving and embroidery across periods and uses.

Qing Dynasty Dress from the Li Yulai Collection
李雨来藏清代服饰粹珍
An exhibition of Qing-dynasty dress drawn from the family collection. It was accompanied by a symposium on Qing costume culture, at which Xiaojian Li spoke on the development and cultural meaning of dragon and cloud motifs across the reigns of the dynasty.
